Microchip Technology LAN8720A-CP

Description

The LAN8720A/LAN8720Ai is an IEEE 802.3-2005 compliant low-power 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX physical layer (PHY) transceiver with variable I/O voltage.
Through a standard RMII interface, the LAN8720A/LAN8720Ai can communicate with an Ethernet MAC. It has a full-duplex 10-BASE-T/100BASE-TX transceiver and can operate at 10Mbps (10BASE-T) or 100Mbps (100BASE-TX). The LAN8720A/LAN8720Ai uses automatic negotiation to determine the best possible speed and duplex mode of operation. The use of direct connect or cross-over LAN cables is possible with HP Auto-MDIX support.
