Switches

A user's finger or thumb, a magnet, or a moving machine part are all examples of outside mechanisms that can directly physically control switches, which are used to interrupt the flow of electrical current in one or more circuits. By turning the circuit on and off or controlling a variety of other features, they make the circuit controllable. The division of the category into subgroups is based on the physical design or form of the actuators used in switches, or the specific use or function for which they are intended.
