The AC to DC plug-in device with four outputs, 250W rated ASTEC Technology LPQ252-C series integrated switch-mode power supply. There are two supervisory outputs of 5V and 12V each, as well as a floating and movable fourth output on this AC power adapter. This power supply contains an integrated EMI filter and active power factor correction. It's rating for the input supply voltage spans 85VAC to 264VAC or 120VDC to 300VDC.

 

 


Video description: In this video, we will discuss traditional Transformer based design which use simple diodes and capacitor to convert the Alternating current into Direct Current and an optional voltage regulator to regulate the output DC voltage. The project will be an AC-DC converter using a Transformer with an input voltage of 230V and an output of 12V.

LPQ252-C closed-type AC-DC converter has 4 outputs, namely 5V 12V -12V ±5 ~ 25V 35A, 10A, 6A, 6A 85 ~ 264 VAC, and the input is 120 ~ 300 VDC. Unlike it, the VSK-S3-3R3U includes a 3 W, 85 ~ 264 Vac input, single output, packaged, PCB mount, and AC-DC power supply. The symbols and footprints are described in the figure below.
