The device comprises a sensing element and an IC interface which communicates through I2C or SPI from the sensing element to the application. The sensing element, which detects absolute pressure, consists of a suspended membrane manufactured using a dedicated process developed by ST. The LPS22HB is available in a full-mold, holed LGA package (HLGA). It is guaranteed to operate over a temperature range extending from -40 °C to +85 °C. Depending on the application, an additional capacitor of 4.7 μF could be placed on VDD line. The functionality of the device and the measured data outputs are selectable and accessible through the I²C/SPI interface. When using the I2C, CS must be tied to Vdd_IO. All the voltage and ground supplies must be present at the same time to have proper behavior of the IC. The ADM2582E/ADM2587E include an integrated isolated dc-to-dc power supply, which eliminates the need for an external dc-to-dc isolation block. They are designed for balanced transmission lines and comply with ANSI/TIA/EIA-485-A-98 and ISO 8482:1987(E). The devices integrate Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology to combine a 3-channel isolator, a three-state differential line driver, a differential input receiver, and Analog DevicesisoPower dc-to-dc converter into a single package. The devices are powered by a single 5 V or 3.3 V supply, realizing a fully integrated signal and power isolated RS-485 solution. The ADM2582E/ADM2587E driver has an active high enable.
