B+B SmartWorx, formerly known as B&B Electronics, is a private company founded in 1981. It specializes in providing intelligent M2M (Machine-to-Machine) and IoT (Internet of Things) connectivity solutions for both wireless and wired networks. The company designs and manufactures device connectivity and network infrastructure products that deliver intelligent connectivity in remote and demanding environments. In 2016, B+B SmartWorx became part of the global Advantech family and operates under the name Advantech B+B SmartWorx, leading Advantech's new Intelligent Networking Business Sector in developing smart networking products.
