The latest Billing Report released by the International Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International(SEMI) shows that in January 2021, the shipment value of North American semiconductor equipment manufacturers was US$3.04 billion, which is an increase from the final data of US$2.68 billion in December 2020. 13.4%, compared with 2.34 billion US dollars in the same period in 2020, an increase of 29.9%.

SEMI Global Marketing Chief and President of Taiwan, Cao Shilun said: "The amount of shipments of North American semiconductor equipment in January hit a record high, which is a good start for this year. The acceleration of digital transformation has promoted strong and lasting demand for semiconductor equipment."

The Billing Report published by SEMI is based on the average global shipment value of North American semiconductor equipment manufacturers in the past three months.
